Exploring different methods of soldering the circuits at the moment. This is my first attempt at a Peter Vogel style minimal display of electronic circuitry using 4mm copper wire for power and ground and arranging the components in between. Starting to think about ways to display the circuitry within the product/sculpture. Do we want the wires to be exposed?, do we even want people to see the circuitry ?(yes!) and if so how will this work within certain shapes. For this circuit I used a bamboo steamer with the middle cut out and suspended both the circuitry inside the ring and then the entire sculpture from the ceiling. Seeing the electronics suspended was a good way to start to visualise how we might display the noise machines in the final show.
